Sublimation printing

Sublimation printing is an effective technique used to transfer images onto various materials, particularly fabrics and coated items. This process involves printing a design onto special sublimation transfer paper using sublimation ink. The printed paper is then placed onto the desired substrate, such as polyester fabric or specially coated ceramics and metals, and heat and pressure are applied using a heat press. The heat causes the dye to turn into a gas, bypassing the liquid state, and the gaseous dye penetrates the surface of the substrate, bonding with it at a molecular level. This results in vibrant, durable prints that are resistant to fading, cracking, or peeling.
